Polynesian Hospitality

A friendly Aloha and a lei of fresh flowers awaits your arrival when you touch down at Kahului Airport.

This is the traditional Polynesian greeting of these islands, so relax and enjoy the warmth and hospitality that Maui and Kauai has to offer.

Lush, tropical flowers, shimmering coral sand beaches, the ocean - a slow drum beat all perfectly orchestrated to present a feast for your sense of adventure.

With Globus First Class Tours you can count on the perfect blend of touring, adventure and relaxation!
Ideal for honeymooners.

Day 1
Your hotel is in the luxury resort area of Wailea where you'll spend four nights. It all starts with a greeting at the airport, transfer to your hotel and that evening, a welcome reception hosted by your tour director.

Day 2 Maui
Head to the lush Iao valley to see the Iao Needle, a spectacular volcanic spire. Travel through lush sugarcane fields and along the shoreline via Maalaea Boat harbor to Lahaina, once a whaling center and the capital of the Hawaiian monarchy.

Afterwards, a delightful lunch at a beachfront Kaanapali restaurant before heading back to Wailea.

There's still plenty of time to enjoy the amenities of your resort hotel. (B,D)
Hidden among towering peaks, the Iao Valley is often referred to as the "Yosemite of the Pacific"

Day 3 Maui
The morning is dedicated with a trip to Haleakala National Park, site of the huge volcanic Haleakala Crater, known to the islanders as "House of the Sun."

The parkland is located in a setting of stunning natural beauty, ranging from a landscape of cinder cones to dense rain forest. In 1980 this fragile native ecosystem was designated an International Biosphere Reserve.

Next is the Maui Ocean Center for a look at the vast undersea world surrounding the Hawaii Islands. Plenty of time to relax and enjoy your hotel facilities today.

Day 4 Maui
A free day to swim and sunbathe at the beach or by the hotel pool. Or select from an array of different activities that your tour director can suggest.

Consider an optional helicopter flightseeing excursion: fly over Molokai for the spectacular vistas of Kahiwa Falls and the historic Kalaupapa National Historic Park, perched at the tip of the island's central peninsula.

Another choice is the "Road To Hana" one of the world's most incredible drives with 54 bridges and as many waterfalls. From mid-December until the middle of April you can catch a whale watching cruise to seek out the mighty humpback.

Dinner tonight is a lavish Luau feast. Then sit back and watch the captivating Polynesian revue of dancers and muscisians.

Day 5, Maui - Kauai
Catch a morning flight to the "Garden Isle" of Kauai. On arrival view pretty Opaeka's Falls on the Wailua River before proceeding to Princeville for a delightful lunch overlooking Bali Hai, as seen in the movie "South Pacific".

Then travel into secluded Hanalei Valley, the setting for Jurassic Park and The Thornbirds.

Witness the valley's spectacular waterfalls, lush hills, and taro patches.

Then south to sunny Poipu Beach with stops along the way at Kilauea Lighthouse, the largest of its kind in the world, and a guava plantation. (B, L, D)

Day 6 Kauai
Enjoy what Kuaui has to offer by spending the time alone with your loved one, sleep in and catch up on your postcards.

Or, take in a helicopter excursion, go snorkeling, golfing, deep sea fishing horseback riding or just soak up the sun.

Day 7 Kauai
Start the day with a drive to Waimea, once the Polynesian capitol of Kauai, and the site where Captain Cook landed in the islands in 1778.

Sightseeing highlights include Waimea Canyon, the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific" and Hanapepe Valley.

Then, on to the Spouting Horn - a natural lava tube that spits a funneled wave up to 50 feet in the air accompanied by an eerie sound reminiscent of a fog horn.

Spend the afternoon relaxing at the hotel, visiting the nearby shops, and enjoying Poipu's renowned white-sand beaches. Tonight your tour director hsots a festive farewell dinner, the perfect finale to a great touring adventure of the Hawaiian Islands. (B, D)

Day 8, Kauai - Honolulu

Transfer to the Lihue airport and fly to Honolulu to connect with your homebound flight. (B)
