Pristine Paradise
Spend two extra nights independently on Lanai. Only 18 miles long and 13 miles wide, Lanai is the perfect place to get away from it all.
Its only town - Lanai City, is home to most of the island's 2,400 residents. The majority of the island is covered with pineapple fields, thick pine forests, and mountains formed by ancient lava floes.
Sometimes referred to as the "Pineapple Isle" Lanai was once famous for its prolific pineapple plantation. James Dole created the world's largest when he bought 98 percent of the island in 1922. Today, Lanai is equally renowned as a vacation destination.
Visitors to Lanai appreciate its quiet, laid-back feel, as well as the opportunity to get a taste of "Old Hawaii".
