Day 1
Upon arrival, you are greeted the Polynesian way - with a warm aloha and a lei of fresh flowers. Transfer to your hotel in Waikiki. This evening meet your traveling companions at a welcome reception hosted by your tour director.
Day 2 Honolulu
A breakfast get-together with your tour director to review activities scheduled throughout your Hawaiian vacation.
Then a sightseeing tour of Pearl Harbor's famous battleship row. Listen to a narration of the dramatic air attack of December 7, 1941 and visit the USS Arizona and the impressive Memorial to the 1,102 men still entombed.
Then on to Punchbowl National Cemetery and Honolulu Lookout. Other sights include Chinatown, Hawaii's State Capitol, Royal Iolani Palace and King Kamehameha's Statue.
Then a leisurely sunset cruise along the south shores of Oahu, with dinner and Hawaiian cocktails served on board. Savor the splendid views of

Day 3 Honolulu
The day is free for you to relax, swim, enjoy the variety of water sports, and laze in the Hawaiian sun. You may wish to sign up for the optional excursion to the Polynesian Cultural Center featuring authentic portrayals of the arts, crafts, history, and music of Polynesia. (B,)
Day 4 Honolulu - Kauai
Morning flight to the "Garden Isle" of Kauai. On arrival proceed to Opaekaa Falls on the Wailua River for spectacular views of Wailua Valley and the bay.
Continue south to Spouting Horn - a natural lava tube that spits a funneled wave up to 50 feet in the air accompanied by an eerie sound reminiscent of a foghorn. After a leisurely lunch, spend the afternoon relaxing at the hotel or enjoy Poipu's renowned white sand beaches. (B,L,D)
Day 5 Kauai
Start the day with a drive to Waimea, once the Polynesian capitol of Kauai, and the site where Captain Cook landed in the islands in 1778.
Sightseeing highlights include Waimea Canyon, the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific" and Hanapepe Valley. With the afternoon free, your tour director will suggest an optional horseback riding excursion through the trails of a tropical forest and along sandy beaches. (B, D)
Day 6 Kauai
No daytime activities have been planned for your last day in Kauai to give you time for independent sightseeing and to catch up on postcards. Optional tours are available: helicopter flightseeing, deep sea fishing, snorkeling along the Na Pali coastline, or a visit to Hanalei Bay, the film location of many Hollywood movies, including South Pacific and The Thorn Birds. Day 7 Kauai - Maui
A morning transfer to the airport for the short and scenic flight to Kahului on the "Valley Island" of Maui.
Drive to the lush Iao Valley to see the Iao Needle, a spectacular volcanic spire. Continue to Lahaina, once a whaling center and the capital of the Hawaiian monarchy.
After a delightful lunch at a beachfront Kaanapali restaurant, drive over to Maui's luxury resort area of Wailea ... your home for the next three nights. (B, L)
Day 8 Maui
This morning is dedicated to Haleakala National Park, site of the huge volcanic Haleakala Crater known to the islanders as "House of the Sun".
The parkland is located in a setting of stunning natural beauty, ranging from a landscape of cinder cones to dense rain forest.
In 1980 this fragile native ecosystem was designated an International Biosphere Reserve. Plenty of time in the afternoon to relax and enjoy your resort's facilities.
Dinner tonight is a splendid luau feast. Then sit back and watch a captivating Polynesian revue of dancers and musicians. (B, D)
Day 9 Maui
A full free day to swim and sunbathe at the beach or at the hotel pool.
Consider our optional helicopter flightseeing excursion: fly over Molokai for spectacular vistas of Kahiwa Falls and the historic Kalaupapa National Historic Park, perched at the tip of the island's central peninsula.
Another choice is the "Road to Hana" one of the world's most spectacular drives with its 54 bridges and many waterfalls.
From mid-December to mid-April your tour director will suggest a special whale-watching cruise to seek out the mighty humpback.
Tonight your tour director hosts a festive farewell dinner, the perfect finale to a great touring adventure. (B, D)
Day 10 Maui - Honolulu
Transfer to the Kahului airport and fly back to Honolulu to connect with your homebound flight. (B)
